Safe, secure and environmentally friendly
GRÄPER also sets itself clear standards when it comes to safety and the environment with its concrete basements. The foundation pans are manufactured monolithically for supply substations; they have no joints and are produced in a single cast.This sophisticated process with oil-proof and waterproof light concrete LC 25/28 (FDE concrete) guarantees that no oil can enter the environment if a transformer fault occurs. At the same time, the secure concrete basements protect the interior of the substation against penetrative dampness. GRÄPER’s special know-how in constructing the concrete basements is naturally also applicable to the requirements of other sectors.
Individual design
The concrete basements are manufactured according to the customers’ own specifications so that individual wishes – as far as they are technically possible – may be considered.The following further points can be considered in manufacturing:
- Design, size, position of transformer, low voltage and medium voltage compartments
- Characteristics of the concrete according to the requirements
- Painting the exterior of the basement (black paint)
- Oil-proof painting of the transformer according to the German Water Resources Act (WHG)
- Design of curtain panels for the medium and low voltage compartments
- Design of cable entries for the medium and low voltage compartments (Hauff construction, closed or open)
