GRÄPER ventilation elements in aluminium and steel provide ventilation for electrical units, ensuring safe and smooth operation free from malfunctions. They must also fulfil the requirements of preventing contact with live parts.GRÄPER ventilation elements are custom-tailored to the customer’s requirements:

Steel ventilation elements
Hot-dip galvanised steel angle (to EN ISO 1461) forms the frame of the steel ventilation elements. Hot-dip galvanised steel plates ensure low resistance to heat transfer, to meet protection class IP 23D (pick-proof protection) in accordance with EN 60529 (VDE 0470 Part 1).GRÄPER experts manufacture the ventilation elements to millimetre precision, in all widths and in each desired height in increments of 30 mm. Variations in design are available: deflector plates to protect against driven snow, insect protection by gauze or expanded metal mesh, closure flaps and metering sliders, filters, special louvre profiles, available in intruder-resistant and other forms.
Aluminium Ventilation Elements
Aluminium ventilation elements from GRÄPER consist of a peripheral aluminium frame profile with or without end-stops. The ventilation louvres are fixed in the frame profile with special louvre brackets. All ventilation elements correspond to IP 23D in accordance with EN 60529 (VDE 0470 Part 1).Here, too, GRÄPER experts assemble the ventilation elements to the millimetre in all widths and in each desired height. Deflector plates to protect against driven snow, insect protection by gauze or expanded metal mesh, closure flaps and metering sliders, filters, special louvre profiles, intruder-resistant and other forms are also available.
